Gigabyte Z97-UD4H Fastboot?

I was playing around in my BOIS today and noticed the fast boot. So I turned my pc off and timed the boot time a few times. I averaged at about 23 seconds with my Crucial mx100 512gb. I turned on Ultra Fast boot and tested a few times and only averaged 20 seconds. Am I missing something or doing something wrong here, or does it not really make a difference?

I have a 256 gb EVO boots to windows in about 10 to 12 seconds.

No fast boot enabled.

Why is mine so slow then? Any ideas on how to speed that up? Am I using the incorrect SATA ports or something?
