Gigabyte Z97 X Mobo and problem with the BPX M.2 SSD

Anyone here familiar with this Mobo?

I'm having trouble installing an NVMe SSD in the M.2 slot. I bought the BPX 2280.

After installing it, my system won't boot. If I remove it, the system is fine again.

With it installed, the system tries to boot but I get a black screen asking for a Boot Disk so it seems that somehow, this M.2 SSD is causing an issue with my SATA SSD. I checked the BIOS to make sure that the M.2 was not in the boot sequence. The boot drives are the DVD Rom and SATA SSD.

In the BIOS, I can see that the M.2 has been recognized although there isn't much info other than BPX listed for it. My BIOS version is F7 and the next step up is F8 but the differences appear to be minor. There are no other BIOS updates after F8.

I sent an email to MyDigitalSSD and Gigabyte but Gigabyte's site keeps giving me a message saying "System is busy. Please try again later". So I'm still working on submitting a ticket there.

Any help is appreciated,
Jay
