Which is better for overclocking the i5 4670K? They both cost the same.

What you have just said makes absolutely no sense.....that's like me saying so my Maximus VI extreme from the Z87 @ £300 won't overclock as well as a Z97P D3 : £59 because it's a Z97 Chipset.........

I wanted to know between those 2 particular chipsets since the Z87 in terms of other stuff is far more heavily specced (USB 3.0, SATA) for the same price...so Overclocking is what I want to know about.

That was my point......You say "generally" Z97 is better then Z87, but I want to know about these 2 particular chipsets, not Z87 and Z97 in general.

In the review you can see : Whether or not the better overclocking we've seen with Z97 boards in general - three out of four hit 4.8GHz which only one Z87 board managed - is due to some behind the scenes tweaking in support of the new CPUs is anyone's guess at the moment, but we do have high hopes for the Devil's Canyon, especially with the supposed improved thermal interface between the core and IHS.

Just because they're the same price doesn't mean they're the same class.......The specs of the Z87 Chipset trump the Z97 ones, as I mentioned earlier....

I want to know which is better......but you vague answer of "oh Z97 is better than Z87" is well....abit too vague for me pal.
