Gigaz170x fan location

I just got the gigabyte z170x gaming motherboard and am unable to locate the connectors to plug in my case fans they have 3 pin connectors I only see the 4pin. Can someone please help me as to where they are located

There are no 3-pin fan headers on your motherboard. Just plug the 3-pin case fans into a 4-pin header.

Okay fure sure. I thought there was another place to plug hem because the 4 pins are sticking out on the mother board. And my connectors from the fan have 3 pins sticking out. Do they still go together?

Yes, they will go together. The 4-pin sockets on your motherboard have a small plastic guide pin, so the 3-pin connector can only line up one way. You can't connect it improperly.
