Time for a new gaming PC. Last one I built for home was October 2014. While looking at cases on the market, only a handful have a front facing Type-C port. Cell phones are predominantly made with Type-C USB ports now. Mine is, so is my tablet. And it won't be long before Type-C memory sticks start to surface.

I only want 1, really don't need more but finding those? Wow. If anyone can provide suggestions please that would help.

Fractal Design: they confirmed they don't have one
SilverStone: so many cases to go through, and their filter doesn't include an option to search by front facing ports.
Phantek: Can no longer access their website for some reason, looks like they didn't renew their domain name??
Azza: Don't seem to have one in their lineup
Rosewill: Too many models to go through!
Enermax: Don't seem to have one in their lineup
Thermaltake: Don't seem to have one in their lineup
BitFenix: Don't seem to have one in their lineup
InWin: The only brand I could find that has a few models (Ending with C)

Somebody posted a link in another thread to this Google Docs spreadsheet:

idk who actually maintains this spreadsheet though

Alternatively, there are adapters to fit in 3.5 inch bays, such as this one (just an example, not a specific recommendation):

If you can't find a case with a 3.5 inch floppy drive bay, I'm pretty sure there are also adapters for fitting a 3.5 inch floppy drive into a 5.25 inch bay, which would probably work with something like that.

Edit: @captaincharisma how would the case manufacturer determine whether to...
agreed, the first case that has usbC on the front will corner the market .....
the only reason cases dont offer it: plebs in charge.
If you had the oportunity to corner the market and make big bills .... and you didnt? enough said.

Thanks for the spreadsheet link @MauveCloud, I knew I was forgetting one brand. Lian-Li certainly has a few.

I appreciate the feedback on using adapters, but I have no taste for them on a brand new box. Besides, I plan on having a front radiator; no 3.5" bays, no DVD drive.

@captaincharisma Thank you. Rapid charging is a standard dictated by the USB standards authority.

its true it would be but i'm not 100 percent sure all USB-C ports can support it even if they are connected to a port that has the option
