Hey guys, just after some advice. My girlfriend bought a computer about 5 years ago now. Specs as follows.

Motherboard - Asus CM6850
CPU - i7 2600 3.4 ghz
RAM - 12GB (UNKNOWN MODEL AND SPEED)
GFX - EVGA GTX 670 2GB

Basically, two RAM slots in the motherboard have stopped working, also usb ports are randomly stop/starting to work. I've reset cmos, updated bios gone through the usual motions. Checked RAM sticks which are all working fine. She doesn't really want to upgrade as it still runs games pretty well and [strike]she cant afford it[/strike] is to tight to fork out money to get a new system. My question: Should I look on ebay and get a second hand CM6850 or are there any other Socket 1155 motherboards that are as good if not better. Everywhere I look has very limited choice as the 2nd gen cpu are quite old now.

Sorry for the lengthy post.
Any advice welcome.

Thank you

I've used all three ram sticks in every slot and swapped them out to see if any of them were defective. I also did a memtest and came back as no errors.
