Lots of my family member using my network, and i cant determine whose mac address belong to and i am also afraid there is a intruder joining my network. So i would like to add aliases on every mac address that connected to my network. For example 00.1A.xx.xx (Dad's phone). Is it possible to do this on TL WR840 Router?

Solution
If it isn't possible, just create a spreadsheet of all the MAC addresses.

BUT, if you are concerned about network security, do the following:
Use WPA2.
Change your WIFI password.
Use a "complex" key with 12+ characters, upper case, lower case, numbers and special characters.
Change your admin password (same rules as above but DIFFERENT password)
Disable WPS
Extra security disable plug-and-play port opening on the router.

You can limit access to specific MAC addresses, check your router options.

I use the Android app Net Scan, which lists all network connected devices and allows you to assign a name to each MAC address.

If you can force WPA2 in the WPA version, you will be better protected.
