You should have no problem playing minecraft on either of those GPUs, 60FPS is all you need for a smooth experience and that shouldn't be a problem.

A 650 Ti is the equivalent to the GTX 560 from a while back, so a lower end game like minecraft shouldn't be a worry, just use the 650 Ti and leave the APU disabled, it's a much more powerful solution.

If this is what your wondering: The two won't work together.

Use your GTX 650 Ti. It should plow through Minecraft with high settings. The APU is better than some integrated graphics in other CPUs, but if you've got a discreet card like that, you'll be set.

I generally consider anything above 45 frames to be a smooth FPS, but with G Sync around the corner, hopefully 20 FPS is going to look smooth synced to your monitor.

If you don't already have the card, don't bother getting it to play minecraft as the integrated graphics will work just fine.
