hi, got a MSI gtx 970 a day ago. never used a nvidia card before & i'm so used to using catalist softwere, cant see much in geforce exp softwere. i've installed the driver from nvidias site, got the msi afterburner & msi gaming app. BTW i was using a radeon 6850 before (no overclocking capability). some tutorial would be appreciated. thanks

Solution
1. Uninstall Catalyst

2. Use CCleaner to remove all references to ATI/AMD GFX in your registry (optional)

3. Shut down and switch cards.

4. Install nVidia drivers and Geforce Experience

5. Install MSI Afterburner (I'd hold off on Gaming App for now)

6. Try these settings to start out

With AfterBurner we applied:

Temp Target 80 Degrees C
GPU clock +185 MHz
Power limiter 110%
Mem clock +500 MHz
Volatge + 87Mv
FAN RPM 70% (remains silent)

7. Actually I do just the core first and dial that in, once I have a stable setting , then I do memory. You can Use Unigine Valley for stability testing initially.

8. If ya have...
