I have a budget of 1500$ for a new mini itx gaming pc and id like to atleast have a core i5 anda gtx 970 so plz let me know what you guys come up with! thanks!

idk, I think an R9 295X2 wouldn't be as good as a GTX 980 in this case. Quite litterally.

The GTX 980 may not perform as good on most ocasions as the only way of getting crossfire/SLI would be a Titan/295X2. BUT where would the RAD go without blocking airflow on the rest of the case? idk IMO its a bit stupid... Pumping warm air in... ETC

Ok i edited my mini itx build, since i just realized you can't put a h100i AND a R9 295x2 liquid cooler in the prodigy:

I do agree (sort of) that crossfireX can be an issue, but if you want the most powerful mini itx gaming system...

Yeah, in restrospect though that WOULDN'T be bad in a Corsair 380T so much as it's all mesh around the outside which means the air can get in easier (but so can dust).

All in all, I think the single 980 will work better in this build. Personal opinion however

I wouldn't get the i7 , go with the i5 4690k and a SSD. I'd still personally go with the build i posted. But options are always good to have. Just noticed you don't have an OS in your build, OP do you need an OS to be included in the price?

No SSD???

Even without Gaming purposes SSDs are wanted, they increase start up performance too!

I think our builds are closely matched but not trying to be rude, mine seems slightly more logical :)

That's perfectly fine. I would actually go with your build if it was my computer i was building, since i don't need all the horsepower that the r9 295x2 has.
