glary utilities safe?

hi everyone.....

just a quickie...... is it safe to be using glarys 1 click Maintenance when using an ssd ?? or is there an alternative i know my ssd uses TRIM .. i also use ccleaner

Much like other so called "fixers" and "registry cleaners", GU can do more harm than good and I wouldn't recommend any of them, whether it's an HDD or an SSD. Most of what they do is already built-in to Windows anyway. I see no point in installing something which duplicates what Windows already has (except for registry cleaning which has the potential to screw up your Windows installation and in any case is totally unnecessary.

Ccleaner, on the other hand, is very useful for a one-click reclaiming of wasted disk space, just don't use the registry cleaner.
