Glitched textures in multiple games

I have been having this issue ever since today. Today while I was playing Skyrim, many terrain textures started to glitch out and flash in multiple colors. It also caused massive FPS drops. This also happens in another game, The Forest, but the glitching is black and doesn't cause FPS drops. I have two screenshots from Skyrim showing the problem.

Ah yes, I forgot to do that.
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
CPU: AMD A10-7850K
RAM: 12.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Motherboard: LENOVO Bantry CRB (P0)
Graphics Card: 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 260 (MSI)
Hard Drive: 1863GB Seagate ST2000DX001-1CM164 (SATA)

I don't know what's wrong with the specifications with your system but your PC might be doing a CrossFire combination with the R7 260. (I'm most likely very wrong)

Try taking out your R7 260 and see what the game does.

hmm that's strange, because I'm almost certain the R7 is part of the CPU (which then means it's an APU) and Speccy says crossfire is disabled.

Sorry for the confusion. The APU includes the R7, but I think the system uses the R9, which is separate, by default.

It started happening the day I first posted. Today while playing, I haven't run into any problems. However, I still would like to know what's causing it.

Do these graphical glitches always happen in your gameplay or is it just temporary and only happens a few times?

If it only happens a few times, it's barely a small problem.

Sorry for the really late reply, I was looking at computer parts for the past few days.

Well, it's really hard to predict when it happens, but I would say I have about a 1 in 3 chance of experiencing it every time I play. When it happens, it's really annoying and ruins immersion. Sometimes, the glitch takes up 90% of the screen and the only way to fix it temporarily is to restart the game. I just want to know what could possibly be causing this and if there's any way of fixing it.

Yes, it does. The only other game I have noticed this in is The Forest. I'll edit this post with screenshots when I encounter the issue in this game.

Maybe I could try uninstalling some texture mods. My guess is my GPU is running out of vram. I might even start saving to upgrade my pc anyways.
