Ok, thanks for the help...i figured it out but i got into both corridors
and found nothing useful...so, did i do that for nothing or did i miss
something???

You should have found some lights to switch on so you don't need the
fireflies in the first two corridors.
Then you would have seen that you can go further - but you need to use the
firefly trick a second time.
There's a journey cloth out there somewhere.
