glued on backplate removal

Solution
Alcohol is probably your best bet. As the back isn't so fragile and worrisome as the front, you should be able to get away with using alcohol and a cuetip to gingerly apply it around the backplate, then attempt to pull it away. Don't pull too hard as you may accidentally pull the entire socket through, if the application of adhesive has too much hold. Be extremely careful, and if the method suggested doesn't work, try to follow up with different methods suggested by more experienced people.

thx, is 99.9 percent isopropyl good? (by the way, it says mhz on your pc specs maybe change it to ghz XD)

Are you talking about a heatsink backplate? Or the one that is connected to the socket. If you are talking about the backplate connected to the socket removing it can ruin the socket itself.

The only reason i can think of doing that would be to attempt a dry ice overclock for a record of some sort.

its the backplate
