I just downloaded the Linux Glulx binaries from the if archirve
(glulxe-0.3.5.linux.tar.gz) but they don't seem very happy on my
system.

'glulxeterm' is linked with libncurses.so.4, while my system has
libncurses.so.5.

'glulxex' runs, but the window is very small and narrow, and when I
resize the window the contents get all messed up.

Is the source for these available anywhere, so that I might try
recompiling them?

Each one is compiled from Glulxe:

<http://mirror.ifarchive.org/if-archive/programming/glulx/interpreters/glulxe/glulxe-035.tar.Z>

....together with a Glk library:

<http://mirror.ifarchive.org/indexes/if-archiveXprogrammingXglkXimplementations.html>

The sources for glkterm and xglk are in there. Rebuilding glulxeterm
for your installed curses library should be straightforward.
