So I use Gmail via Firefox on my desktop, as well as via the Mail app on iPhone.
Ever since about a week ago, when I, for example, read and delete a message on either one, the other one doesn't update with it.
This is causing me to have to delete each message twice, each time.

Nothing to my knowledge changed between my two platforms, so I'm not sure why this is happening.
Does anyone else know perhaps?
I tried signing out and back in them, clearing cookies/browsing data, rebooting and refreshing.

Thank you.

The cynic in me thinks that someone has decided to no longer play well.

Simply made software changes via some update and made no effort to consider what the end users have set up or otherwise configured.

All configuration settings put back to default for example.....

Take a look at the links and start with the link that seems the most applicable and appropriate to your situation.

Hopefully one of the links or some combination thereof will...

Hopefully one of the links or some combination thereof will identify the culprit and a fix.

Failing that, then if necessary, take what you learned and do some additional online searches based on what you learned to narrow down to other possible solutions.

Seems like it was just some type of glitch. The issue was resolved after I deleted the gmail account from my phone and added it back.
An update did not cause this, as I tend to only install important updates, so I'm not sure what exactly broke the synchronization.
