Gmail Wont Work in Google Chrome, only in microsoft edge

(Sorry if I put this in the wrong category)

This problem just started today, whenever I try to launch gmail or a few other sites in chrome, they wont launch and just fail to load while other sites work fine and I can use gmail in microsoft edge for some reason. Please help me fix this problem as it is starting to annoy/worry me. What would you recommend that I do?

Yes I tried that but unfortunately id seemed to do nothing, thanks anyway though

I tried reinstalling chrome and I still have the issue, and gmail works fine in chrome on my laptop, I did full system scan with my antivirus software and nothing turned up so im not sure right now what the problem is

i would completely uninstal chrome from pc using revo free uninstaller and the load it again and reinstall it .

what do you think I should do? i have been getting a lot of spam emails recently in my work email account but i havent been reading them and ive just been deleting them. Could that have anything to do with this?

is there any way to check for viruses in chrome specifically?

you can use any number of good antivirus software apps, or even built in Windows Defender and do a full scan of all files on all drives. Malwarebytes has a free trial too, that's a good one.

I just completed a full scan with kaspersky and nothing turned up, so im not so sure if its malware anymore

Well I think i found a temporary fix by disabling TLS 1.3, but im not sure if it is safe to leave it disabled because im not sure what it does exactly
