My fan constantly slows down and speeds back up and I dont know why. When it does this it's very load and vibrates my desk, and it gets annoying very fast.
I dont know why this would randomly happen unless the fan is F'd.. I don't have other fans so I cant plug another one into the same place and see if its another hardware issue or something.
I cant imagine this is BIOS related or whatever because I've had this computer for two years and this only started like 2-3 days ago if that.
This computer is giving me a lot of problems recently and I'm really getting sick of it :\

Yes, it's in the front, at the bottom, in front of my hard drives...
I'm not actually sure where it goes as when I took the entire front plate off the case and cleaned the fan, I gave up trying to follow the wire after it goes along the side of the case, and into a really right space somewhere in the front between the hard drives and front structure of the case itself. Looking in with a flashlight and trying to wiggle the wire didn't help any, I still couldn't see where it had gone and I think the wiggling didn't do anything because of the tightly secured cable management that was put in place by the technician that put the thing together in the first place.... I can try to look another time when it isn't 4:30 am and dark as could be...

The fan connects to a part of the wiring harness that had been tucked away under my hard drives, I think it just goes to the power supply from there...

I just downloaded SpeedFan and I really don't see anything out of the ordinary, but I really don't know what ordinary should be for my situation. I don't see a drastic fluctuation in RPM or anything that would seem strange...
