Godfather2 cant play

hi, i recently installed godfather 2 , it asks me create a profile in d beginning but after creating d profile game doesn't begin and just shows loading window nd nothing else so ultimately i close it with task manager

it happened with me too but on windows xp
i switched to win 7 and then it seemed fine...

i'm sorry as i said the exact opposite yesterday.....
i too was on windows 7....i switched to xp and it was fine....
