I have the following computer:

CPU: Intel i7 i950
MOBO: ASUS P6X58D-E
HDD: 2x Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB (Setup as RAID 0)
OS: Windows 7 Professional Edition

I currently have the computer setup in RAID 0 and everything is working fine.

I recently purchased a Samsung SSD 850 EVO 256GB and wish to install a fresh copy of Windows 10 to try it out and see how Win10 works.

If I don't like Windows 10 can I simply reconnect the RAID 0 and go back to using that?

What process do I take to install the new drive?
If I don't like Windows 10 what steps do I take to enable and go back to using the RAID drive.

Kinda lost as I don't know if I should enter the BIOS and simply delete the raid set there or if I simply go into the bios and just disable RAID and just enable ACHI?

Any help on steps to do what I want to accomplish would greatly be appreciated.

If you're looking for the free Upgrade to Win 10, you only have a very few hours left.

Assuming you know your Win 7 license key:
Remove all drives except for this new SSD.
Install Win 10.
Use your Win 7 when it asks for the license key.

If it is a Win 10 that you have bought, do the same, except use the Win 10 license that came with what you purchased.

I setup the RAID myself. Its been awhile and wanted to just be certain.

The process I am certain is simple. I just want to be double sure I'm doing it right.

Just unhook the old RAID drives.
Connect the new SSD.
Power on the system.
Enter the BIOS.
Check to see if the new drive is detected.
Set HDD from RAID to AHCI
Set the boot order to boot from USB first and SSD second.
Plug in Windows 10 USB installer and follow instructions. Enter the license key and done.
