Going on 144 hz

Hi i wana go on 144 hz monitor but will i get 144 fps?Now i get 100 fps (League of Legends) on a 60 hz monitor.Does that show how much fps i will have on a 144 hz monitor or fps would be higher on 144 hz monitor?

The monitor's refresh rate does not change the frames per second of your P.C. The internal components in your desktop can do that.

If you're only getting 100fps in league of legends, chances are your P.C is not ready for a 144hz and you should upgrade other components first.

What are your system specs? You can always adjust your settings to pull 144+ fps if having that high refresh rate is important to you.

Hi ty for answers...I have a q9550 overclocked to 3.8 ghz drr2 ram ( I know old rig) and rx560 (my new gpu).I know i need to change my motherboard cpu ram and maybe psu(crosair 430 w).So my question is what cpu i need to get for constant 144 fps (even in teamfight league of legends) but that isnt expensive to much... I am on an tight budget... Ty
