I'm open to alternative mother board options. wanted x570 so that it would last a long time.
the reason why I'm buying it even though the human malware price hike is happening is because I don't want to wait till it's over and I think the motherboard could go out of stock soon.
Thanks for reading!

Looks fine, although I don't know if you realize that that motherboard specifically states "Ships from China. MOST customers receive within 7-17 days".

I've ordered stuff that was "direct from China" through Newegg before. Six weeks it took to get it, and that was long before the current situation with Covid 19 and major shipping problems because every retailer and individual out there is trying to get a hold of something that isn't currently in stock somewhere. I'd be very surprised if you saw that motherboard before the middle of July.

thanks for the feedback.

I'll have to think about that but it's like $400+ from anywhere else. so Long wait might be worth it

I'd wait. The B550 boards should be coming in a matter of days, and should be cheaper, available within the next ten days and have better configurations than many current boards.

I did look into them but I figured they'd be sold out and the price would be up pretty fast.

I like to have time to look into them

Dang I just looked it up and I didn't realize they would be up to par with the x570’s or better

thanks for the info

Another good option, would be the soon to be released B450 Gaming Pro Carbon Max, which won't have support for PCIe 4.0 but WILL have support for multiple M.2 NVME drives, unlike the Tomahawk max, and for memory up to 3600mhz, instead of only 3200mhz like most of the B450 boards. Looks like it will be about 150 bucks.

It will also have Wireless AC WiFi built in.

Probably arrive sooner than that X570 board you were looking at anyhow.
