Going to Jump off CLIFF

Last night we had a bad storm.
My computer was by the window and it was open.
My 19"monitor got sprinkled with water droplets on the back.
More like dew than a soaking.
This morning my wife wakes me by saying the computer is screwed up.
The picture was dim and green.
My wife took a hair dryier and tried to dry it out some.
Rebooted and it was a little better.
I disconnected it.
Thinking a days drying out would help.
Twelve hours later I hooked it up and tried it out.
Black screen.
nothing.
zip.
zilch.
I'm screwed arent I???????
So out of the garage I pull my 3yr old Aspire 15"er
She has been abused but thats what I'm using as I type.
But she has no color adjustments on her and I have absolutly no red color whatsoever.
Red comes through as black.
Have you ever tried to play Ureal Tournament Red/Blue teams with no red???????
I'm screwed.
All red in the Icons and games is black.
No more games for me.
I cant frag anything now.
I dont know why the red would go out on the monitor.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I feel like jumping of a cliff.
Not only is my 19"er DOA
But my 15"has no red............################

It is not so bad, monitors are soooo much cheaper these days. You can get a decent 19" for around $250.00 bucks. Also check with your home owners insurance. I have zero deductable on comp.
