I will get the BenQ EW2440L triple monitors because of their good value. I can't find another 24", very thin bezel monitor at the $200 AUD range. However, they only come with D-Sub/ HDMI/ HDMI(MHL) connectors.
The graphics card I'll be using is a Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming Windforce SLI, which have Dual-link DVI-I / DVI-D / DisplayPort*3 / HDMI*1 each.
I have also read that multiple monitors setup is best when they are all connected to one graphics card. In order for me to do that, I can do 1 HDMI to HDMI and two HDMI to DisplayPorts, or three HDMI to DisplayPorts.
I was wondering :
1) if using adapters would affect anything in terms of performance. (Because if so, I would have to find monitors with a native DisplayPort connection); and
2) if it is true that I have to connect all monitors to one GPU even with SLI.
