Gona Buy a new Pc :D What do you think ? Tips ? Thx

Hey Old folks.

I´m going to build a new build, I had previouslly an imac. He lasted exactly 2 years and 4 months... The machine just had total failure (Psu Dead, Motherboard Dead) after exactly 3.5 Months after the Warranty expired .

So I quickly made a build on Pcpartpick

I am definitly going to take a smaller case, I am going to take instead the corsair Air 240 and because of the motherboard format I could get the Gigabyte GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5 motherboard instead of the Msi one giving its mAtx
The graphic card I will not buy yet, I have an Amd 6970 lying around I would use it and wait for the Pascal Architecture.
what you guys think ?? good to build or would you guys recommend something different that Im not aware of ?? Im a bit outdated giving I was brainless on the Apple world... thanks for any repply.

Looks great, however I would not go for 950 PRO but 850 evo SSD, it's perfect consumer SSD. Also the 6970 is a great gpu and will hold its ground until pascal arrive so I support the decision to keep it and wait for Pascal. Everything else is great, however you can go for a budget monitor now while you are using the 6970 and get a 1440p/144hz or even better when you get a pascal gpu in the future (even though your gpu will run this 1080p 144hz monitor great!).

Realistically the 950 Pro is better value, costs about 225% more but has about 500% more performance.

thx ginger. I kind of like the 950 for its Max. 2,500 MB/s read speed and Max. 1,500 MB/s write speed compared to the 500 MB/s from the 850 why you think the 950 is bad ??

Edit: I kind of payed the extra 6th gen price just to get the new z170 Motherboard giving they have the M.2 Port native builded on them meaning I could exploit this joy at full Powa

Well it's not bad, just I would call it too much for a consumer pc, however if you can spend the extra cash, then it's a great choice.

Based on his build, it seems more like an enthusiast machine to me. GPU can't get any better. CPU is perfect. Might as well get the freaking fast SSD 😛
