Good 1080p monitor for gaming

Looking for a good 1080 monitor for gaming. Not really too versed on the displays so help would e appreciated. Currently using a 28" i-inc 1920 x 1200 resolution screen. It's not bad by any means, but I'm seeing lines roll up along the screen and it's kind of annoying. Plus the image quality just outright isn't all that good.

Would like the monitor to be at least 27"

Also, pricing under 300 dollars would be ideal.

If you sit close to your monitor I recommend sticking at the 24" displays for gaming. for example, a 24" 1080p monitor has the same amount of pixels as a 27" monitor, they are just larger on the 27" to fill the extra space. a great gaming monitor under your budget is the 24" VG248QE.

If you like 27 then you might consider a 2560 x 1440.
