My case is a Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, owners of the Arc series of cases will know that the front filter looks great but is very restrictive to airflow. So restrictive to the point where if I put my hand in front of the included fans I can't even feel any airflow. I like the look of the Corsair SP series but after checking benchmarks it turns that they aren't very good at their supposed function + they are very expensive. Ideas and input on this?

Which benchmarks are you looking at? The SP fans are pretty good.

One thing to remember, even with the more restrictive case filters a SP fan might not be the best option because they are specifically made for heatsinks and radiators.

A few other brands to look for Like phanteks which make decent fans as well:

The thing is the front "filter" on the Arc series is closer to thinly sliced foam than wire mesh. It's an awful design choice and is the biggest con (imo) to the Arc series of cases. Something I noticed about the Corsair SP fans was that in testing against SP fans from Scythe, Lepa, Delta, Fractal Design, Thermaltake, and other companies people who benchmarked would use the regular SP fans which are too noisy, and the low-decibel fans are a joke compared to other cheaper fans.

I looked for other reviews but couldn't find very many for the Corsair versions.

Unless you are talking about reviews done by individual people which sometimes can include a slight bias towards the fans they prefer. Some people prefer Noctuas even though they are not the best and, in my opinion, are the ugliest color out there (brown).

^Must be newer ones. That was the only thing I didn't like about Noctuas, was the brown color.

I have no issue with the Corsair SP120s. My H100i has 2 of them and honestly apart from first power up they are not very loud even when gaming. In fact the loudest part in my system is my GPU and that is pretty normal.
