Dell 23 and Asus 23 monitors are 1080p, usually have hdmi, and cost ~$170-$180.

Btw, hdmit is pointless unless you have built in speakers in your monitor. And I'd rather have regular DVI with the monitor, and use actual separate speakers anyways since built in monitor speakers are usually not the best out there.

Ya, except you said it in a way that means you don't care about any peripherals except hdmi, meaning you do want hdmi.

Anyways, Dell has 23 inch monitors on sale at the moment for ~$170 + tax iirc. I have one myself, with VGA and DVI connectors. The one on sale has a few USB and 1 HDMI ports as well iirc (no speakers, just the port). Either way, Dell monitors are usually pretty good and you can use your stand alone speakers.

21.5 inch monitors are kinda small for 1080p imo, 21.5 inch is more suited for 1680x1050 resolution imo. The $200 ASUS monitor is decent, but you can get cheaper monitors without built in speakers - since you don't need em and that will save you some $$$

I bet it does, but I don't want to spend 100 dollars for 120 pixels, and 3 inches.... =/. Though, it is a good price for the size, I was looking for 27 in, and they are up there, I'll think about it.

It's not an extra 120 pixels. It's an extra 230,400 pixels. 120*1920.
