I'm currently using a Samsung SyncMaster 245bw 24" monitor, which works just fine.
I'm almost 48 years old and my eye sight for reading small letters is less then perfect (in general my eye sight is great for everything else).
So I'm looking at upping to a 27" monitor.
So clear text is important, I'm not into FPS gaming, more strategy (C&C) or RPG (can't wait for Diablo III).
I usually use 1680X1050 (ATI 6850)
Prefer using a DVI connection.
Do not need built in speakers.
I live near a Costco, Fry's, Central Computers (Silicon Valley)
I would rather pay $20 more for buying locally, but not against mail ordering.
I've been thinking of getting the Samsung 2770FH.
Costco sell a Viewsonic 27" VX2753HM-LED (liberal return policy)
Fry's sells like 10 different (brand and model) of 27" monitors.
So I'm open to ideas for a 27" monitor.
