Hello!
I am looking for a 38-40 inch (can be slightly larger or smaller, doesn't matter) at 75Hz or higher, preferably 2K res. and shouldn't cost more than 450 quid.
Cheers!

While this isn't a 38", it is a 34" Ultrawide with a 3440x1440 resolution and is highly rated for its price.

Thank you!
How about the Samsung Odyssey G5 ? Seems like it is the exact same as the Gigabyte one but a few quid less expensive.

The Samsung Odyssey G5 is a 27" monitor instead of a 34" monitor. I can tell you that a 34" ultrawide is VERY nice. I have an ultrawide and the additional screen size is for sure worthwhile. You are basically able to get dual monitor setup without a bezel in the way. Also the Samsung Odyssey G5 is not rated as highly as the Gigabyte G34WQC so the extra money is worth the purchase.

The website I am on tells me that the G5 is a 34 inch monitor. So do 3 others... It is ultrawide too, maybe the contrast is just different?

AHHHHH OK yeah I see Samsung does have a 34" ultrawide version of that monitor. Most of the places I have seen only had the 27" 16:9 monitor shown. Overall the Gigabyte is slightly higher rated. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tool...c34g55t/17023/22248?usage=3623&threshold=0.10 I would say the biggest differences come in how curved the display is, 1500R vs 1000R, and the HDR performance. My monitor has a 1500R curve and that is nice. I personally don't think I would want a 1000R curve as that would be VERY aggressive.

Alright, thanks so much!
Will choose the Gigabyte then :)
