I want to get a good 500/550W PSU

i5 4690
Gigabyte gtx 960 g1 gaming 4GB
WD blue 1TB
Gigabytes B85-HD3 motherboard
Kingston hyperX fury blue 8GB
K281 case with 2 120mm fans

I'm not planning to overclock anything

Please make sure that the PSU is haswell certified.

how critical is this haswell certification? i have not heard of any issues. i mean, if i have a working psu, i won't replace it just because of it.
i heard (if im not mistaken) that it is the low power level that is new, that psu's before it doesn't support. but if you don't use it i think its ok.

You're right it's low leve power state.
I know I can disable it from the BIOS but I want permanent solution.
