Question Good $900 build for gaming?

Hi all! Made my last desktop gaming/media system using your expert advice many years ago. Back to do it again.

I tend to play RPGs, and Cyberpunk 2077 is probably the most graphics-intensive I will get in the next few years. I also produce techno using Ableton, which takes some power. I just want a good mid-range machine capable of gaming.

Here's the single compatibility note, which I think is no big deal, but you can correct me if I'm wrong:

Perhaps I should downgrade to Ryzen 5 2600? Seems the top 5 Mar 2019 builds pinned above are sticking to that CPU even with higher-end 2070 Nvidia GPU.

That's standard operating procedure for M2 drives - if you're using one slot, the first two SATA ports get disabled so if you're using any extra HDs or SSDs then those would need to plugged into the other ports on your board.

That build looks decent but you should definitely get a better motherboard. What is your overall budget?

Thanks a ton guys! My budget is flexible, but I'm hoping to stay between 800-950 before Windows. Dark Lord, your build looks great. Maybe I will just run with that. g-unit, thanks for the clarification. I see DL has switched the motherboard already. Anyone have further thoughts on his build in #4?
