Question Good alternative email client instead of Thunderbird ?

I currently use Thunderbird 115.3.3 but do not like the new versions, in my opinion it's poorly redesigned. Anyone have any ideas on other good email clients?

Using TB for many years. Currently using version 115.6.1.
What don't you like about it? Still #1 mailer for me.

1. I have used Firefox since it started then when TB came along I jumped in and I have been happy with it ever since. I have recommended it to many people. I’m a member of both the Mozilla forums FF & TB. What don’t I like, several things but the main ones are the relocation of the top tool bars, why was there location reversed, did that really have to happen.

2. When you go to your mail you click on which ever email you want to start with, it highlights it and then if you delete after reading the hi lite disappears 0r the next mail might be highlighted with a gray background so you know what you are deleting next BUT @ times it does not appear so you don’t know where the mouse is so U cant delete because it could be important. Sometimes it goes way up & you know this because you see the list roll. So @ times you plan to delete several items you have no idea where the mouse pointer is at or where the mouse is located so you roll up or down to find your starting point to delete items. It does this all arbitrarily.

3. When you try to Delete mail from the inbox etc holding down the shift key and the up arrow it starts then after a bit the Subject box goes white then after a few seconds a block of Blue hi lighted mail maybe 8 to 10 flashes by then it goes white and repeats the same so if you stop to delete what you have highlighted so far, it ask if you want to delete 67 e mails you hit OK it will delete some but not most of them.

Let me say, I have 2 PC’s and they both do the same thing. I haven’t listed all the delete problems as it would take too long. My plan is to go back to an older version. Let me ask do you belong to the TB forum as you will see many frustrations listed. Many people are up[set with all that they did, the program has been fantastic for many years so go ahead and make some improvements but don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. The tool bar issue can be fixed but you really have to jump thru a lot of hoops & hope you don't make a mistake or who knows what will happen.
