I'm looking for a good AM3+ motherboard that will support an FX-6100 out of the box without requiring a BIOS update.
I've read the reviews for the Crosshair V formulas, and some reviews state they are either DOA or require an updated BIOS before they can support an FX processor. I'm still a bit torn between whether or not i should get the Crosshair V, I'd prefer something cheaper, but i'm trying to make something future-proof so i can save up money for other things, something that would fit into an NZXT phantom would be good. Also, i'd like a recommendation of what RAM I should get too, it's so cheap now compared to before, i'm not sure what's a good quality model right now.

Parts I want:
Mobo: (whatever you guys suggest that is good, maybe with RAID support)
RAM: (whatever you guys suggest that is good)
Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103962
(FX-6100)

I'm trying to keep the budget >USD $400.

Current parts:
mobo: Pegatron NARRA5 (OEM)
RAM: 4GB, DDR2
Processor: AMD phenom II X3 720.
Graphics card: EVGA GTX 560 Ti
PSU: Antec Earthwatts 500W
Hard Drive: 320GB WD caviar blue
Case: NZXT phantom

If you guys need more info, please tell me.
