Question Good audio system to replace Logitech Z506 ?

So many years ago I got this logitech Z506 5.1 system, its neat and all, but i always used the rear speakers in front of my on my desk. I noticed to a lot of games just don't have any sounds on the rear speakers and furthermore, the fact that it uses those P2 analog plugs on the rear of my case makes the sound "click" a bit here and there, often i have to clean them.

So i was looking for a replacement, perhaps one with less speakers since I cant properly install the rear ones, with a great quality and hopefully with a digital connection like USB-C. Hope this is the right place to ask

I use a Cambridge Audio DacMagic 100 to feed a Kenwood AV Receiver and a pair of old Goodmans Magnums with 12in woofers (rated at 150W RMS each). You don't need a sub-woofer with full range speakers, but they do take up a fair amount of space on either side of the monitors. Not for everyone I know.

When we first started our home I had mine in the living room with a pair of Sansui Sp3500s

If you are looking for something smaller .
2.1 systems
Also depending on budget
A friend has a set of these in his studio. Sound nice.
Of course a higher budget would allow more.

Kudos. Most impressed. Those Sansui SP3500s are a class act. They must have shifted some air.

All I can find on eBay is spare parts for them, no complete speakers.

Thanks for the heads up. Much appreciated.

A few years back I found another pair in good condition.
So I have a set of 4 at our cottage .
I have systems in almost every room of our home. and one outside.
Cant live without my music.

I use in my Audio system a moded Ps3 power supply (aps-226) 32AMP 12v car Amplifier 400w rms (JBL 12" 350w SUBWOOFER)
And a Car Stereo Kenwood KDC-X301 gives another 100W rms (2 sony 2 way/ two 2 way philips HT)
Car stereo eats 40w max, and Subwoofer eats 433w max.... Idle 12W radio/amplifier has 100 db/snr (better than most cheap audio)

I am not the expert, but here are some ready to run systems:

I dont know about your budget, the sound blaster katana is an all rounder with modern features:
