I am finding things like autophile and dropit. Which dropit would be good but it seems I can not find something that can sort by a keyword in the file name.

Example file name:
pokemon_pictures_net-(resolution in numbers)-pokemon-pikachu+eevee.jpg

keyword would be "pokemon" without quotes and destination folder would be desktop/pokemon
etc

can be any image format, but I would like a software that can sort using keywords in the file image name, not by other items like size date etc. Something I can configure like drop it, but if it can work like autophile and sort automatically without crashing if im trying to sort more than 10 files into about 100 folders thatd be great.

Is pokemon-pictures the same as pokemonpictures?
How about pokedlizard.

Using filename as metadata for a database sort never works right.

i guess that was meant to be a play on me?

Autophile uses a trigger that activates when it finds a semblance between what you have as the destination folder names and what is in the file name itself, depending on whether you want it to be an exact match ANYWHERE within the file name or just similar with letter consistancy but not in the exact order. So it works and its out there, but like I said if used on more than 10 files and folders then it crashes.

Was wondering if anybody had anything that actually works as i ask instead of googling 20 different things and getting the same 5 results from old webpages

No, wasn't meant to be a poke at you.
Just a visualization of possible file names that would make this concept fail.

not really, when i had autophile sort with those file names even with different ones like kemono the only thing it did was create a list of folders on the right and showed what each file was getting moved into. the only thing it did was when i did exact match, it took some of those pokemon items and put it into kemono. For what reason unknown as i didnt think to look in to it, but it was 3 items out of about 20 tested that the rest were placed correctly. so fairly accurate.
