M.2 In my laptop. What kind of SSD? SATA or M.2? What's the system where it will go?
Two examples of good drives:
SAMSUNG 980 2280 500GB M.2 $62.99
https://www.newegg.com/samsung-500gb-980/p/N82E16820147803?Description=samsung m.2 500gb&cm_re=samsung_m.2 500gb--20-147-803--Product&quicklink=true
Crucial MX500 500GB SATA $55.88

2.5 sata ssd will definitely not go in there, Ill dedicate the hard drive for a backup, and also for some games. Also yes, it will fit a 2280. I am planning on buying this one: https://allegro.pl/oferta/dysk-goodram-px500-512gb-ssd-10239749087Both models here say they support:
1x M.2 SSD slot (NVMe PCIe Gen3)
1x M.2 SSD Combo slot (NVMe PCIe Gen3 / SATA)
1x 2.5" SATA HDD
The manual doesn't specify the form factor, whether the space in the laptop is big enough to house a 2280 or smaller/shorter ones. You can both get M.2 ssd or get a 2.5" SATA SSD and replace the hard drive it has.
As far as brands go Samsung and Cruicial and some others make good drives but finding an M.2 that fits in the space there, is at least 500GB and is $60 or lower might be tricky. I think you should also get input here from people who might know the market there and if there are any deals at the moment where you live.
If you have no experince in working within laptops I suggest you take it to a service center/shop, preferrably an MSI one.
I can't find much on that brand except for their website here, what controller they're using, what NAND chips if it has a DRAM chip or not etc. There's no mention of DRAM alongside the NAND chips. That's probably one of the reasons why it's cheapre and it should be.2.5 sata ssd will definitely not go in there, Ill dedicate the hard drive for a backup, and also for some games.
