I'm fairly new at this. So i just got a new graphics card that sadly only has DP ports. My ASUS monitor is semi-old now, but it has no DP hookup. Its either i splurge on a DP to DVI cable that cost me $100 and not guaranteed to work or binge on a new monitor.
So the question is:
What do you guys recommend as a monitor in the title? I'm very new to this and never really did my research. I was going to get an ASUS VG278Q 27", but people were telling me it was outdated and i should look elsewhere. Any help would be appreciated. I come here because people know their stuff.
