[SOLVED] Good budget board for AMD Ryzen 5 1600X?

So currently I have a Intel i5 6600 non-k CPU in a MSI Z170A Krait Gaming motherboard but came across a AMD Ryzen 5 1600X for a great deal, so I plan on switching over and am needing a decent motherboard for pc gaming and maybe a little overclocking but don't want to spend to much. I was told to check out the Asrock b350 pro4 motherboard cause it has good bios but want to get some opinions. Heres what I currently have and plan on switching over to the new motherboard...

• Adata XPG Z1 DDR4 2400 16GB Kit (8gb x 2) Memory
• 1tb WD Black SN750 NVMe M.2 SSD
• XFX R9 390X GPU w/NZXT G12 mount & AIO liquid cooler
• XFX TS-550 PSU

There's very little headroom on a 1600X anyway, and (almost) any compatible AM4 board should allow you to reach it's full potential.

I have no personal experience with ASRock's BIOS, so cannot comment. I like ASUS' BIOS, I don't like Gigabyte's. Different strokes for different folks.

Given availability/options, I'd look to either the B450-Pro4 from a price standpoint:

As an aside, your DDR4 2400MHz is a bit underwhelming for Ryzen. I'd give serious consideration to either overclocking it to ~2800MHz or higher, or selling the kit and picking up a 2x8GB @ 3000-3200MHz.

Personally wouldn't make the switch between those two. For the money it seems like very little performance uplift.

I got the 1600x for free pretty much so I wanted to try it out and see the difference. I was told my i5 6600 was bottlenecking my r9 390x

I was looking at that Asrock B450M/AC AM4 B450 Motherboard but some people said the motherboard board wouldnt recognize the m2 ssd and I got a 1tb wd black sn750 m2 nvme ssd that will run my OS so that is a must have...

That motherboard has one M.2 PCIe which is compatible with your SSD. Maybe people are confusing the M.2 WIFI slot which the board also possesses, which wouldnt work with your M.2
