Hello there,

I have a very tough decision to make regarding my headset. I am starting up streaming, the quality is right there where I want it to be however my old headseat's mic just broke and I can't chat with my potential viewers. I am on a budget and don't really want to invest a lot now for a good headset and microphone separately.

My choices are:

1. SteelSeries Siberia 150
2. SteelSeries Siberia 200
2. HyperX Cloud Stinger
3. Hyperx Cloud Core
4. HyperX Cloud (seems a bit expensive for what I'm looking for)
5. Logitech G430

I watched for 2 days straight reviews and forums but I am still confused. I am aiming towards Cloud Stinger as based on the reviews the mic quality is actually good for this budget headset and the sound is pretty good. The Siberia ones have the mic inside the headset and I've heard that sometimes it picks up the sound from the game and interferes with the owner's voice.

Can you guys give me more feedback on this matter please? I am looking to spend around 50$ on this one and later I can invest more once I'm in the spot where I am required to do so, but as a starter I think those mentioned should be pretty good.

I'll mention that I have a 5.1 sound system but I've heard it's bad to play on it and stream from a mic as it could pick up the sounds around your system.

Thanks in advance!

The G403is a mouse so I assume you mean the 430 ... my son bought on of these recently spur of the moment in a local store supposedly "on sale" after his G930 died. He was a bit PO'd when he realized that the G930 was the same price ($69) on newegg(also that the 430s were $40). My older son had a $300 pair of Sennheisers and when that was sent in for repair ... he kept standing up and since he's tall, the wire would come up short and rip them off his head and the wire eventually pulled out. .. and he picked up a G930 "in the meantime". He got the Senn's back but doesn't use them.

If ya can swing an extra $19 ... I'd grab the 930s.
