The age old question, what size of ssd, if any, for my computer. First off, I have a 3tb hard drive for all the other files.

I plan on installing the OS and other fast programs, such as ad blocks, security softwares and browsers. I DO NOT plan on putting games on the drive. I don't want to spend more than $100, but would prefer to spend $50-60(65) for the drive. If it's of any consiquence, I'm going to use a Ryzen 5 1600.

Anything and everything is appreciated. Thanks!

I purchased my https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4RE5AS2788&cm_re=adata_120GB-_-9SIA4RE5AS2788-_-Product over a year ago and it's treated me well.

For some storage perspective I left 15GB unallocated. System restore has another 10%. or about...

Either way, and of course being cognizant of which SATA ports might be disabled with that.

For some storage perspective I left 15GB unallocated. System restore has another 10%. or about 9.5GB reserved(7.86GB used) curently). I am currently revisiting Crysis Warhead so that uses a little less than 8GB. Windows takes about 23% or 9.7GB. There's about 1GB for system recovery options. I have hibernation disabled(saves about 10GB or more). Toss in a few dozen(more or less programs including security and I am left with 46.2GB. It's probably closer to 46.5GB of free space left because I haven't ran Ccleaner yet.

I have a over 2 TB of storage space on multiple drives apart from the 120GB SSD. That's for larger game files and backup.
