Good cheap GPU that will be good for a 1080p Monitor?

Hey guys it's me again. I've been looking for a good GPU that is a great fit to a 1080p monitor. I heard 970s are the best but I haven't found one under $250 that is not noisy, and that is good overall. I found a EVGA but it says it is superclocked? I don't know what Superclocking is and if it is bad since my other parts aren't superclocked. If it's not bad, I guess I'll stick to it. Thanks again for your help guys.

Superclock is just a name for that particular model, the model is over clocked by the EVGA factory, this is a stable OC that improves performance over the reference cards.

Spend the extra for the GTX 970, but a GTX 960 would be awesome too.

imo 970 330$ > R9 290 260~USD>R9 280X 220-200 usd GTX960 isnt worth it in the US market when the R9 280X exists it beats it at everything pretty much and u can OC the core to 1200mhz or more

If you can't afford a GTX 970 don't worry too much. Nvidia GTX 960 and AMD Radeon R9 280/280X will perform very well at 1920x1080.
