I'm looking to get into YouTube gaming commentaries, and I need a decent microphone. I'd like to spend under $50 if possible. It doesn't need a bunch of features or anything, I just want something that will record my voice clearly.
That looks pretty good. I'd prefer it to be cheaper though. I have no shortage of money, it just seems like a waste to spend a lot on a mic when I could get games or something instead. I suppose it would be worth it in the long run though.
Well, I like the idea of it clipping onto the headphone cord, but that product on the Canadian website still seems to ship from the UK, and it costs an extra $7 to ship and it'll take 3 weeks.
I have the Zalman mic fantanel linked and I love it.
Amazing quality for the money. You should be able to pick one up locally or some a Canadian site, just google Zalman clip-on mic.
Ps fantanel thanks for the link, I've been meaning to buy another for my brother, but had a hard time finding a UK supplier.
I have that Zalman mic too and it's a pretty good mic, amazing for the money. But if I was serious about commentating videos on youtube, I would probably get a blue snowball.

Get on of these they are very reliable and EXTREMELY good sound quality. http://www.thomann.de/gb/the_tbone_mb88u_dual.htm
The delivery may take sometime though.
Have a look through them there's a sound test on the side of the page for each microphone.
