NO that does not seem like a very good deal IMO. It's actually a pretty poor deal the more I think about it.

Oh wait I see now it's CAD and not USD. Sorry. Ok not such a terrible deal, but still not a great one. It comes with $35 in rebates so it would still cost you $500CAD up front. That i5 does not come with a cpu cooler either.

This would be much better bang for buck.
