So, I think I've made a descision on a GPU PSU combo but I have never done this and need to know whether these will work togther and with my PC. I think the size will be ok but also why I chose the PSU I did. Help me decide before I hit the purchase now button

I realize you mentioned that before but everything that I have watched and read including the MSI video on that card says that it is backward compatible even to PCIe1.0. This would also mean that an aweful lot of people with even relatively new PCs would have to upgrade their motherboards to run a GPU. I wouldnt think that Nvidia or ATI would want that.

The power supply is made by SeaSonic (a very reputable company) and should be plenty to power a 270x along with the rest of that system.
 
Solution
What is it about the power source that is not sufficient? is it the Wattage? I dont plan to crossfire. I did not mention that in the original post. I just want an upgrade that will last for a bit
