ended up being $1590 it will be used for gaming, video and photo editing. I was thinking that the 2600k may be to much but i figure if i ever do end up needing the extra cores at least i will have them.

yeah i am think of switching to the i7 2500k after some more research. I was thinking about building my own but i have no clue where to start so i figured just get a pre built and do my own upgrades over time and then next time in a couple of years do the whole build my self so by then i will understand how it is all put together because this is my first computer not made by a "big computer" company such as hp or dell
