Hey there everyone I am currently using an AMD 8320 OC'd to 4.6 ghz. I'm I cooling it right a 212 evo an holding to around 55 degrees under full load. This isn't horrible by any means but I would love to upgrade my cooler. Another small reason is because on my board the evo is covering up 2 of my ram slots.

So what would you recommend? Thank you!

Well looking online at the case I did find pics of the case with a large air cooler installed so I would assume a large cooler would fit but it might be close. You're going to need to check your clearance and dimensions closely for both.
You looking to go water or a large air cooler? I went from the 212 evo to Phanteks PH-TC14PE which comes in different colors and currently on sale at Newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709011. The other option would be the Noctua NH-D14 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608018. However you'll still be covering your ram with an air cooler. As for water options... I don't know I prefer to stick with air for personal reasons.

What motherboard and case do you have?

If the fan is covering your RAM slots, put it on the OTHER side of the cooler in PULL. Works just fine that way.

If you have your cooler mounted blowing UP and it's the side of the cooler blocking the RAM slots, you could try rotating it 90 degrees to blow back.

If neither of those is an option, you'll need to go with a larger Air cooler that has more RAM clearance, or a CLC cooler and add a fan blowing onto your chipset and VRM heatsinks.

If your case is large enough, The Phanteks TC14PE is a great air cooler for less than a comparable Noctua cooler. It's large though and you will need a full size case to fit it.

Very good point.... going with a large air cooler will depend on your case since you will need clearance so if you have any large fans mounted so the side panel of your case they may get in the way.
