Good cpu and bad gpu?

Hello community,
This week i will pick up my Core 2 quad q9650, 3ghz each core and a liquid cooled cooler for maximum performance. My current gpu also is an evga gt 610, and im a bit worried that it will affect the cpu from giving its atmost, 100percent. Btw, i only play csgo, and tf2

My current specs if required
Intel Core 2 duo e8400 3 00 ghz
Asrock g41-vs3
Evga gt 610 1 gb
500gb samsung harddrive
Rapcon 450 watt psu
4gb blue hyperx fury
Cooler master cpu liquid cooler
Cooler master case
Cooler master side led fans,
Samsung cd/dvd drive

That is a really poor card, though the CPU is also 8 years old. Give it a try, and see how it works for csgo and tf2. If it's not performing well enough then check ebay or something for a cheap upgrade that will work with your current PSU.

I know right! But currently i am running csgo on 50 fps. I just wish to increase the fps, because the fps decreases when near smoke.
