Hi

I have a AMD FX-8350 4GHz Socket AM3+ 8MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor which I read somewhere; top temperature 61 degrees. However when I play battlefield It hits the 70 / 75 degree mark! Which is huge. So I think its pretty obvious I need to buy a new CPU fan as I see everywhere the default one is awful. Looking to spend £60 max. I want the best cooling for keeping the lowest temperature possible - fan not water cool, far too complex XD - low noise would also be nice but id prioritise cooling over sound. I will leave my full PC specs below (Just built my gaming pc a few weeks ago) PS first time using this site - sorry if i've posted in wrong place!

Oh and sorry to be a pain - but please could you check its compatible with what I have before leaving me a suggestion - I hear size with many of them is a big issue

Many thanks

Your case is less than 8" wide. So there's a good chance you won't be able to use a cooler with a 120mm fan. The Cooler Master 212 EVO is pretty short at 169" tall. And the above Zalman is 152mm tall. You'll have to measure from the CPU to the side panel to know if you have the room. I kinda doubt it.

Might want to go with something like I have; the Corsair H60: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181030&cm_re=corsair_h60-_-35-181-030-_-Product
One of the least expensive, yet decent quality AIO liq. coolers.
