Good CPU Fan/Heatsinks

Hey guys, I'm currently running a stock cooler for my Phenom II X4 and I was wondering what some good CPU Heatsink/Fan combos are? I'm think less than $40 and preferably not MASSIVE. A little large is fine, I just don't want it to take up an absolute ton of room.


So, any good recommendations?

The hyper 212+ evo is an awesome cooler for the price but its not small by any means and you will need access to the bottom of the motherboard to install it (as many aftermarket coolers do too)

I agree with the hyper 212+ evo, I picked up my Frio Advanced for $40, and it is pretty big, but if you can find em for $40, I would nab one, my Phenom II 960t at 3.9Ghz +.025 voltage, doesn't go above 42C.

Has anyone had any experience with Zalman solutions? They have some great reviews on newegg.

Has anyone had any experience with Zalman solutions? They have some great reviews on newegg.

I hear that they are pretty damn good, but if I were to pay $45 for the 92mm, I personally would just dish out the extra $20 and grab a 120mm.

Hmmm....I can't decide. I'm also toying with the idea of waiting a bit and going with a water cooling solution. Sooo many choices!

look into the cooler master sedian, I hear it's pretty good for the money.
